Poughkeepsie (Gently re)Open Studios (in person)

Since 2015, Poughkeepsie Open Studios has been a popular and unique experience for art enthusiasts to personally interact with the many talented artists who live, work, and/or teach in our area. Open Studios is a two day self guided tour of local art galleries, arts organizations, and artist’s studios in the historic City of Poughkeepsie, NY. Attendees to this event are afforded the opportunity to visit artist venues – studios, galleries, arts organizations, and temporary “pop-up” spaces – and explore the creative processes, inspirations and types of modalities employed by participating artists as well as take in the rich history of Poughkeepsie, the broad cultural diversity of our community, and the beauty of the Hudson River Valley.
The 2021 Poughkeepsie Open Studios will once again be held on Father’s Day Weekend but will not be the large-scale weekend event of the past. Art galleries, arts organizations, and art studio locations will include multiple in-person artists along with limited artist “pop-up” space available.
Join the Poughkeepsie arts community Saturday, June 19, and Sunday, June 20, for an enjoyable, softer, gentler, and safe experience that will be enriching for one and all!
