The Vassar Film Department is home to twenty four Adobe Premiere Pro edit stations, an Avid Pro Tools workstation for audio recording and mixing, as well as a Davinci Resolve color finishing suite.

Ingest & Media Management: Keeping your project organized is important from beginning to end. This starts in the field with accurate and thorough camera and sound reports and picks up in post with organized media management when you are ingesting your camera and audio originals. A secondary backup or your portable hard drive can be saved to the Student RAID in room 215.

Editing:  Editing iMacs in rooms 206, 215 and 214 all have full Adobe Creative Cloud software suites installed. Download the current Premiere Pro CC 2019 Project Template here.

Sound Effects Library: Add audio depth to your project by using our library of more than 12,000 sound effects. Conveniently located in the cloud on Google Team Drive so you can access it from anywhere. You can preview them online but be sure to download to your portable hard drive for use in your projects.

Audio Mix: The Finishing Suite in Room 207 is equipped with a voice-over booth for recording and an Avid Pro Tools workstation for putting finishing aural touches on any Vassar Film project.

Color Correction: The Finishing Suite in Room 207 is also home to a color-calibrated 55″ LG display for final color finishing in Adobe Premiere and Davinci Resolve.
