Criteria:

1. A cumulative GPA of 3.6 or higher.
2. A GPA of 3.8 or higher in courses offered by the Film Department.
3. As determined by the voting faculty members of the department, work of exceptional merit* in at least one of the following senior-level courses. Preference given to students who meet this standard in both their senior research seminar (Film 392) and one of the following courses:
   1. Film 300 (Research Thesis)
   2. Film 301 (Screenplay Thesis)
   3. Film 326 (Senior Project Non-Fiction)
   4. Film 327 (Senior Project Fiction)

*Please note an “A” letter grade does not necessarily represent work of exceptional merit.
