Poughkeepsie Farm Project Community Harvest

Join hands with Poughkeepsie Farm Project staff and community to harvest winter greens from the high tunnels, clearing the way for spring plantings. The ancient practice of farmers opening their fields to the community after they have harvested all they need for production is called GLEANING.
Day and Time: Friday March 29th 11am – 12pm
Location: 51 Vassar Farm Lane Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
City of Poughkeepsie residents are welcome to take home as much produce as they can use for themselves and neighbors. Any remaining produce will be made available for donation to our Food Share partners in emergency food relief. Children are encouraged to attend with supervision from an adult, and kids really love this event!
