Panel Discussion with Extraordinary Playwrights

The Drama Department invites you to “Women Rewriting the Canon: Adaptation as Intervention in Contemporary Playwriting,” welcoming extraordinary playwrights to campus for a conversation with Vassar Drama faculty members Professors Amanda Culp and Peter Gil-Sheridan. The evening will feature a panel discussion on the art and craft of adaptation, and the value of returning to, and rewriting, the canon. This event is April 5 from 6-8pm in the Martel Theater, Vogelstein Center for Drama and Film and is sponsored by the Helen Forster Novy ’28 Fund. Reservations required.
