Learn about opportunities to help maintain and preserve the historic gardens and landscapes at Roosevelt Vanderbilt NHS. No prior experience necessary, and volunteers are encouraged to participate as their schedule permits – no required hours. Volunteers from all over the region enjoy the camaraderie and
satisfaction of working together and sharing the landscapes with visitors. Non-gardeners enjoy work as garden greeters, arts and education program hosts, and many other behind the scenes jobs. Opportunities include Home of Franklin Roosevelt; Val Kill, Home of Eleanor Roosevelt; Vanderbilt Mansion; and Beatrix Farrand Garden at Bellefield.
