Juneteenth Freedom Day

The first innuagaral Juneteenth parade in the City of Poughkeepsie will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025, with a 12 PM Line up, 12:30 PM parade start at Main and Market street. For organizations who would like to participate, please contact Jamar Cummings, City Chamberlain for a parade participation application form.
The City of Poughkeepsie is also seeking artists, vendors, and volunteers for the multi-day Juneteenth celebrations on the Saturdays of June 14 & 21. Please contact Stacey Bottoms for more information.
