Family Day at the Preserve

On October 13th, families are invited to visit the Preserve at Vassar to enjoy the beautiful Fall foliage! From 10am-2pm, educators from the Environmental Cooperative will be leading educational activities all about local flora and fauna. Staff from the Francis Lehman Loeb art museum will run an arts and crafts station. At 11am, we will be celebrating the opening of our new interactive space, the Learning Forest, with remarks and light refreshments. Families are encouraged to make use of the Preserve’s 7 miles of hiking trails during the day.

Children of all ages are welcome, and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Family Day will take place rain or shine so bring your boots and get ready to hop in some puddles!
