PCSD Board of Education Election & Budget Vote

9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

The Annual Public Hearing on the Budget shall be held in the Board Room at the

District Administration Building

18 S. Perry Street

Poughkeepsie, New York

on May 7, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., for the purpose of presenting the 2025-2026 School Year Budget.

The Annual District Meeting and Election will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M., prevailing time, when the polls will be open for the purpose of voting by voting machine, to:

1. Elect one (1) member of the Board of Education to a full term of three (3) years to begin on July 1, 2025, and to expire on June 30, 2028.
2. Vote upon the appropriation of the necessary funds to meet the estimated expenditures for School District purposes for the 2025-26 School Year (the Budget); and
3. Authorize transportation within the standard limits set forth in Section 3635(1) of the New York Education Law; and
4. Establish Child Safety Zones; and
5. Capital Reserve Expenditure; and
6. Transact such other business as is authorized by law.
