Computational Physics Projects Fall 2016

14 students are working on a wide variety of computational projects: Ranging from planetary and star trajectories to diffusion in crystals and an analysis of unemployment rates.

Adding Equations to Your Blog

You can type LaTeX code directly onto WordPress. For example, Maxwell’s equations can be displayed in all their glory:

(1) $\begin{equation*} \nabla \cdot \vec{E} = \frac{\rho}{\epsilon_0} \end{equation*}$

(2) $\begin{equation*} \nabla \cdot \vec{B} &=& 0 \end{equation*}$

(3) $\begin{equation*} \nabla \times \vec{E} &=& - \frac{\partial B}{\partial t} \end{equation*}$

(4) $\begin{equation*} \nabla \times \vec{B} &=& \mu_{0}\vec{J} + \mu_{0}\epsilon_{0}\frac{\partial E}{\partial t} \end{equation*}$
