
Vassar LLI is administered by a volunteer General Council. The General Council meets at least quarterly to review programs and operations of the LLI.
The Vassar LLI General Council consists of the Chair, a Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, two At-Large members, and the Chairs of the standing committees listed below.

- Standing Committees:
- Executive Committee. Chairs: Mihai Grunfeld, Neila Radin. The Executive Committee is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the LLI.
- Curriculum Committee. Chair: Sybil DelGaudio. The Curriculum Committee coordinates and plans our Vassar LLI courses. The Committee suggests and organizes new classes, recruits new presenters, and consults with presenters about their classes.
- Classroom Managers Committee. Co-Chairs: Nora J. Quinlan and Patricia Fitzpatrick (in-person classes); Rob Cohen (zoom classes). This Committee is responsible for recruitment, orientation, and support of our class managers. Class managers assist the presenter, including by introducing the presenter and communicating Vassar LLI information to the class (and, for zoom classes, assisting with zoom mechanics).
- Membership & Registration. Co-Chairs: Sudhir Desai and Paul Stoddard. This Committee is responsible for the administration and execution of the LLI admission process and the course registration process, including maintaining our Pro-Class system.
- Hospitality Room Committee. Chair: Tim Ryan. The Committee maintains the Vassar LLI hospitality room (setting up and setting out coffee and snacks).
- Special Events Committee. Co-Chairs: Diana Salsberg and Terry Quinn. The Committee plans and manages special events including trips and tours, and Fall and Spring gatherings.
- Communications Committee. Chair: Joanne Valeo. This Committee consists of several subcommittees that create and distribute information and communications to our members, and answers phone calls and inquiries.
- Newsletter Editor: Jo Hausam. Responsible for soliciting articles from Vassar LLI membership and editing our newsletter each semester to inform members about LLI activities and record our times together.
- Phone Support Coordinator: Howard Spilke.
- Course Catalog Managers: Sybil DelGaudio, Neila Radin, Beth Hayes.
- Photographers: Sarah Kennedy and Marian Pompa.
- Newsletter and Catalog Artwork: Marty Zlotkin.
- Webmasters: Mihai Grunfeld, Neila Radin, Rachel Etkin. Maintains Vassar LLI Website.
- Member Engagement Committee. Chair: Ed Kinkade. This Committee is responsible for the orientation of new members, partnering new members with seasoned members who can help new members with their questions/navigate LLI processes, and assist new members in finding LLI opportunities of interest to them.
- Transportation Committee Chair: Terry Quinn. This position is responsible for coordinating with Vassar College Security regarding transportation needs for LLI classes and events.
