Susannah Zhang is the ACS liaison for the sciences. She earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Georgia, and has a BSEd in Physics Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to ACS, she taught Introductory Physics Lectures and Intermediate Physics Lab at Vassar. Her research relates to the field of Chaos Theory with application to Biophysics. Throughout her career, she has gained experience in academic technologies relating to both teaching and research. She also supervises the Laybourne Visualization Laboratory (Sci Vis Lab) in the Bridge Building
