Project Description:
We used the software to assist with transcribing lengthy interviews. It turned out not to be the best fit for our purposes. While we found ways to use the software to speed-up the transcription process, and to allow us to do some preliminary analysis while transcribing, the transcription process remained rather cumbersome.
Perhaps there is better voice recognition software available today that permits effective automation of transcription, but we found the Dragon software to be only a minor time saver.
