Classroom observation as professional development

Project Description:

We used this equipment for a research project where teachers observe their own pedagogy in the classroom, observe the video and then share their reflection on their teaching with their peers in their professional learning community. This year, we started using the video component (which we were unable to do prior to this grant) with the teacher leaders and the research assistant (who is also a teacher at the research site). They used it in their classrooms to work out the protocol, test the equipment and then use the data for their professional learning community meeting.
