Hey everybody it’s Jadeen and I just wanted to inform you that Kene and myself are making a Halloween podcast that is very very very gory. Also there’s a twist so listen closely. It’s to DIE for………
Katie and Simone 9/30
Today was a prime example of a quote from 30 rock. “There is no such thing as a bad idea, only good ideas that go horribly, horribly wrong”. We had an idea, and it went wrong. So now our podcast is slightly more simplistic, but the script is still impeccable. ~SIMONE
Yes, I love your application of that quote, Simone! Yes, today we were able to get our script recorded. After attempting to read it through with two speakers alternating by the word, we ultimately settled on alternating paragraphs. Technically, the word-by-word alteration just didn’t work out–the sound was always off balance. However, we still managed to keep in one part where we speak together–stay tuned for next week, when we add effects and music and post our project! ~KATIE
I love celebrities –Gianna and Lars
These are a bunch of celebrities that I love! I’m better than you and I love food! French fries with ketchup are the best.
For Tori (9/30)
Tori!
I missed you today but I hope that your swim team went well today. I can’t wait to hear all about it when I see you again next week!
See you!
Katie
p.s. I’ll be trying out that orange/teal combination that we talked about last time 🙂
Dear Sharifa
Dear Sharifa,
Pete the pirate and Carrot the pentacorn missed you today but wanted me to tell you that they wish you luck at your meet!
How I Met Tom Petty (a not so true story)
This is a story of how I met Tom Petty told through a PowerPoint. Complete with pictures of Tom. 🙂
The SLO Exam: Podcast Creation
Today, we used the script that we wrote last week to record the podcast about SLO testing in school. Megan started by recording the podcast in Audacity and then played around with editing and music to make our finished project. It took some time to find the right song to go with the PSA because there weren’t that many options on the computer that fit well with the podcast. We’re very happy with the final product!
Sans Jake
Dear Jake,
I’m sorry to hear you’re sick!! That like so sucks. But I’m sure it gives you more time to play Five Nights at Freddy’s or Minecraft or whatever you’re doing today. At least I hope you’re having a good relaxing day!
While you were gone, I drew more doodles than I know what to do with. Hung out with Kelsey and Hanna which was pretty swell. We talked about Kurt Vonnegut and the American Flag. Good timez!
I’ve still got out Australian story saved and I shed a single tear when I heard we wouldn’t be able to add to it today. But I’ll balance out that tear with more than a single smile when you get back!
I’ll be done now.
Cheers,
Sam
P.S. Did you get a chance to see The Hills Have Eyes???
Hey Zylynya!
Hi Zylynya,
This is Eliza speaking – your digital storytelling buddy. I missed you this week! But you reading this means you’re here now, which is really cool.
-Eliza
Divergent Book Series Review *ending spoilers*
party hard
So, today we made our podcast. We started with editing the script we wrote last week. We took out some words and took out extra details that weren’t necessary. Then, we recorded! And, edited! What an experience. Here it is, check it out:)
