On Friday, April 10th, the Art Center’s current exhibition, Through the Looking Glass: Daguerreotype Masterworks from the Dawn of Photography, opened with a lecture by John Wood, one of the premier historians of early photography, and author of several books on daguerreotypes that are widely recognized as landmark publications

Host Potluck Brunch: Easter edition

The Office of International Services celebrated the Spring Holiday in a rather unconventional way this year. While relying heavily on the Western traditions of Easter to guide the day, there were incorporations of many different cultures and peoples coming together to learn and enjoy good food!

Sustainability Planning in Practice

In Spring 2015, Professor Cunningham’s Geography/Urban Studies course in Sustainability Planning Theory & Practice had students seek out examples of green principles in practice, whether they seen them on Campus, at home, or from experiences abroad.

While roaming the galleries of the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center one day last semester, I noticed a newly installed painting in the 20th century gallery. It was a rather large painting, and the artist’s use of space on the long, narrow canvas was very unusual
