POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Find farm fresh produce and great food from November through May as the Arlington Farmers’ Market moves to an indoor location in Vassar College’s North Atrium of the College Center, located in historic Main Building every Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00pm. (Please note that the market will be on hiatus from December 27, 2012 – January 17, 2013 during the college’s Winter Break.

Alyssa’s hectic and busy traveling schedule quickly became evident as we corresponded with each other via email, trying to find a time that suited the both of us for an interview. Philadelphia one week and then to Maine by the weekend, I actually caught her at the airport as she waited for her next flight.

Learning While Doing Assignments

Some of my best learning experiences happened while I was struggling with an assignment: hitting my head against a calculus-wall homework, screaming aloud in frustration while taking a physical chemistry take-home exam. I also remember learning new biological concepts while taking exams. Ideally, all assignments you give to your class should not only examine mastery of concepts and material, but should also contain an element of new information, new material to learn.
