“Script: Franco is Still Dead” on View Tomorrow

As the semester draws to a close, CAAD has been busy collaborating with artist duo SPECTRE LAB for their installation this week. A collaboration between interdisciplinary artist Ann Burke Daly and musician and writer Álvaro Marcos, SPECTRE LAB will be presenting Script: Franco is Still Dead, a multi-channel sound and video installation in the Aula. In conversation with Professor Katherine Hite’s Political Science course “The Politics of Memory” and Professor and Chair of Hispanic Studies Michael Aronna’s course on literature and culture, this project touches on topics of history, erasure, and memory in the context of modern Spain. Things are well underway with their installation and we are eagerly awaiting the final unveil this Wednesday.

The installation will be on display in the Aula of Ely Hall, on Wednesday, May 3, 8:00-9:30pm. A brief question-and-answer session will be part of the program.
