If your heart is in a more practical career, by all means, go for it. If it’s not, though, Frank Leonard may be able to help. Leonard is the founder of the Blacklist, where “filmmakers and material meet,” according to the site. The list uses an algorithm to filter through read and rated scripts, compiling the best of them into what is formally known as the Blacklist. Check out this interview that Leonard did with Final Draft, the industry standard for screenwriting software, in which he discusses the list and his history leading up to its creation.
