I could sit here and tell you about all of the artists on the Vassar Women’s Rugby team. There are dancers, musicians, actors, photographers, writers, models; you name it and someone on the team probably does it. However, the event taking place this Saturday November 8th at 1:00 pm on the Farm doesn’t exactly draw on the team’s artistic capabilities. It’s the first round of the USA Rugby Fall Championship! 32 teams will compete all over the country this weekend in the hopes of ultimately making it to the final four, which takes place on December 6th and 7th in the very warm and sunny Palm Coast, Florida. As a Division II team, the Vassar women want nothing more than to return to Florida, but first they have to beat Buffalo State University this Saturday. Head over to the Farm tomorrow and cheer them to victory! You won’t want to miss this game.
