WordPress authors can insert images into WordPress a number of ways.  Here’s the simplest.

• In the post editing screen, click the square next to add media.

• Click ‘Select Files.’  A dialog will pop up, asking you to choose an image.

• Once you’ve selected a file, add or change any of the relevant options.  It’s not necessary you change anything.  When you’re ready, click ‘Insert into Post.’

Important note: You should never use an image you don’t have explicit permission to use, as it puts you and the college at risk of copyright infringement.
