Joshua Tan is an Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at LaGuardia Community College, part of the City University of New York. He is also a Research Associate at the American Museum of Natural History where he is a member of the CUNYAstro. Prof. Tan is an observational astronomer who studies the optical counterparts of binary millisecond pulsars and advises on remote observing projects that utilize the capabilities of the Falcon Telescope Network.
