• The “from” field appears to be from a known Vassar address.

Why this is a virus

• This email is not a standard template from Dropbox.
• When hovering over the URL, it does not go to Dropbox or any known Vassar address.
• The URL will lead to an installation of malware on your machine.

Additional notes

• Never open a shared document that you did not ask for. This is an easy way for viruses to infect your machine.
• If the sender is a recognized email address, contact the person by phone to check if he or she did actually send a valid file.
• A little paranoia goes a long way! Be suspicious of any email messages similar to this one.
