Ironweed retyping has begun

Youd began retyping William Kennedy’s best-known novel, Ironweed, on Sunday. Here he is typing at an L.C. Smith and Corona, the typewriter Kennedy used to write his first five novels. Jack by A.M. Homes retyped

A.M.Homes’s Jack; 220 pages, was retyped on an IBM Selectric III at Sarah Lawrence College; Yonkers, NY; June 20-27, 2018. Jack was written when Homes was just 19 and attending Sarah Lawrence. Next up – Light Years by James Salter at the Thomas Cole National Historic Site, Catskill begins July 3rd!
