Putnam Summer Fellowship for Teaching with Technology Application 2026

Faculty members are invited to work with Academic Computing Services (ACS) to develop and submit proposals to design and implement a course curriculum or new pedagogy that is significantly enhanced by the purposeful application of technology. Proposals will clearly identify the faculty member’s desired outcomes for student learning and articulate needs (e.g, time, assistance, training, hardware, and software). Funding amounts will vary depending on needs.

  • All course types are eligible, but it must be a course that you will be teaching *in the 2025-26 academic year,* with preference given to those likely to be taught regularly thereafter.
  • Please describe what you are seeking to achieve through this program and what opportunities you feel will be made available by the use of technology. Is there a particular challenge that you are seeking to address? (e.g. challenges of class size, geographical distance from subjects or expertise, lack of student exposure to modern tools, limited class time, complexity of course content, etc.)
  • What outcomes do you hope to see as a result of your new approach? How will you determine success?
  • Project Budget and Justifications
