Typical projects are research projects, thesis work, senior projects, fieldwork, and independent study. The expenses covered may include travel expenses, conference fees, entrance fees, production costs, and other such expenses

Note: Students are limited to at most one award from either the Academic Enrichment Fund or June Ross Marks’ 49 Travel Fund in the same academic year.
This fund may be used to support student travel, with a preference for travel in conjunction with student academic work.

Science students may apply for these awards to expand their research experiences. Most previous awards have been reimbursement of travel expenses for presenting research at meetings, with a cap of $750.

Fifteen (15) Thompson Bartlett Fellowships for Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science have been created to encourage outstanding and highly motivated students to pursue summer opportunities that will allow them to build their scientific, mathematical, and computer science knowledge and advance their career goals for American scientific advancement.
Deadline: April 15th
The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship provides scholarships to college sophomores and juniors who intend to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering.
