Project Description:
The tablets are mounted on stands at the lab bench and the cell culture hood. This allows easy accesss to digital information while working at the bench or hood. This is especially useful at the hood where space is limited and work area is restricted by (ideally) keeping your hands in the hood behind the sheild, making it easier to be able to glance at procedures on the screen. I have a form to log activity in the hood which has been helpful for recordkeeping. Tablets at the bench have been helpful to keep personal electronic devices away from the work area, as they can become contaminated or damaged by spills.
