TODAY, on this really, really warm tuesday.  Cadeejah was having nothing to with going outside because it is really hot and sticky.  The big accomplishment today was filling in the gaps for the story revolving a little girl, who has been named Dariona.  The story is being resolved and lengthened to fill us in on her adventures.

In addition, Cadeejah can multitask.  Grabbing music off youtube, for her music collection and the MP3 player.  After finishing off the downloads, she is working on a fresh mix of songs on Garageband.  The base beats have been settled upon, now just time for the over tracks.

We got a lot of work done. I won’t tell you what it is, though. And I got to pose for Simone and Hanna. That’s it.

Today, Karen and I finished up our presentation on orchestral favorites! We relived our favorite Disney soundtracks (mostly from the 90s) and introduced one another to favorite compositions.

We are leaving our Audacity file for now and we plan to come back to it because it is just too good to not finish.

We are combining with our powers with Simone and Katie (and perhaps Katie) to work on our video project, which we think will be out of this world!

Our two groups united and wandered campus, taking pictures of Vassar students with “fresh to death” fashion sense. Next week, we plan to shoot the video portion.

Today in Digital Story Telling we decided on what kind of video we’re gonna do. (We’re not gonna say what it is…It’s a surprise)

So the hardest and most diligent worker in all the classes, was writing her script for the most amazing digital story about place and belonging.  In addition to those she explored her writing process and style.  The story will be amazing plus we have come up with a  idea for a video about the leaves around Vassar because its fall outside and the Colors are so cool.

Today we finished our audacity project. Who knew music could make a rant into something so powerful and dramatic? It turned out very much better than our every other word attempt. -Simone

Hey blog, Its Mya and I am going to post my powerpoint soon. I started today and I am planning to finish next week. In the meantime check out my PSA called “Cheerleading injuries”.

What we did today:

We decided on the Halloween theme for the final cut pro story.  We looked through various stories, until we found one that we liked.  We picked “The Hook,” because of the fact that we thought the couple was going to die but they didn’t.  This was a surprising ending.  They almost did though!

Then we started finding pictures.  And, we used photoshop to enhance the pictures.  For example, we made car head lights turn on and removed a watermark.

For next week, we will record the story, time it, and find more pictures.  Next, we will put the pictures in sequence with the story and then add sound effects!  Then, finally we will upload it (very important detail).
