Thank you and congratulations to all who participated in this year’s DataFest! This year, we welcomed students from Vassar College as well as Bard College, Dutchess Community College, SUNY New Paltz! Students, you should be proud of the perseverance and creativity that you demonstrated this weekend that resulted in some insightful presentations. As always, our judges had a challenging task, but awarded prizes to:

• Mind Over Metrics (Ashley Barmore, Catherine Chen, Kangning Luo, and Frances Zehner) for Best Overall Analysis
• JT Queen (Kungpeng Wu and Yuqei Zhang) for Best Visualization
• Team A (Wyatt Nault and Chelsea Qiu) for Best Use of Outside Data/Information/Research
• Precision Peregrines (Nick Bennett, Oscar Blanco, Jessica Sundeen) for Best Narrative
