We heard that the Digital Media Zone, specifically how to make it a more viable campus resource, was a topic of discussion at the VSA’s first meeting of the Student Technology Advisory Council. We prepared for the launch of the new peer-to-peer faculty listserv, facultytalktech@vassar.edu, to be announced the April 14 faculty meeting. We reviewed the spring 2011 applications for the Frances D. Fergusson Faculty Technology Exploration Fund. Finally, we discussed the issue of whether and how CAT might guide the college in developing standards for students’ technological literacy and skills.
