Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Caruso received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Science (Physical Chemistry) from the University of Buenos Aires in 1974. He went on to earn his doctorate degree from the University of Napoli in 1977.
Aside from teaching at Vassar, Dr. Caruso is the author of 2 patents, more than 250 papers. He also has taught a Post-Doc course in Chile. He also was employed by Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Rome, Italy.
