The Alliance for Diversity in Science and Engineering (ADSE) is a student-led organization dedicated to supporting underrepresented undergraduate students in STEM. Our goal is to build a welcoming community where students can find mentorship, academic support, professional development, and opportunities to connect with peers, faculty, and scientists across different fields.
We are one of 2 undergraduate ADSE chapters in the nation. At Vassar College, ADSE aims to create spaces where students can explore careers in STEM, strengthen their sense of belonging in communities that lack diversity, and gain access to resources that support their academic and professional goals. Through events, workshops, outreach, and community-building, we hope to encourage more diverse participation in academia, industry, research, and government careers.
