Hello everybody,
My name is Noura Hajjaj and I just joined the Office of International Services (OIS) as an assistant director. In my new leadership role here at Vassar, I am going to assist our OIS Director, Dr. Andrew Meade, and oversee our interns in the planning, programming, and coordination of a variety of academic, cultural and social programs that enhance the integration and success of international students and scholars.

I hold a Master’s of Arts in Organizational Communication and Leadership from Marist College and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Arabic Language and Literature from the Lebanese University. I am also an adjunct faculty member in Communication and Arabic cultural studies at Marist College and Western Connecticut State University. Prior to moving to New York, I worked at schools affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestinian Refugees in Lebanon. In addition, I volunteered at local and international organizations to provide various community services for Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanese communities.

Please feel free to stop by at our office and introduce yourself ! I am looking forward to connecting with our international students and scholars and becoming further acquainted with the broader Vassar community.
