{"id":44,"date":"2017-06-09T03:02:11","date_gmt":"2017-06-09T07:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pages.vassar.edu\/windswept\/?p=44"},"modified":"2017-06-09T03:02:11","modified_gmt":"2017-06-09T07:02:11","slug":"row-design-and-components","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pages.vassar.edu\/windswept\/2017\/06\/09\/row-design-and-components\/","title":{"rendered":"Row Design and Components"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One row:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-46\" src=\"http:\/\/pages.vassar.edu\/windswept\/files\/2017\/06\/WindSweptRow-1-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"626\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Major Components:<\/p>\n<p>Stepper motor &#8212; using NEMA 17 Stepper motor \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (40oz-in &#8211;&gt;2.5 pounds) as of now<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reprapchampion.com\/products\/40-oz-in-nema-17-stepper-motor\">NEMA 17 Stepper Motor 40 oz-in<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Motor driver &#8212; Was going to use the TLC5940NT&#8217;s I have from before, and just add H-bridges, but in order to save pins on the arduino boards I&#8217;m switching to Easy Drivers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/reprapchampion.com\/products\/40-oz-in-nema-17-stepper-motor\">Easy Driver<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Arduino &#8212; One Arduino Uno to control each row so each motor can be controlled independently.
