Activities: Haitian Art"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Scholars and mentors alike have been busy at the VAST Haiti Project dipping their brushes into paint and exploring their creative sides!<\/p>\n<p>For the first activity of the semester, we painted turtles made out of recycled stones as they have a special significance in Haitian culture and make a great canvas for capturing
