Nevertheless, Marek and Daniel\u2019s relationship grows and shifts from sexual favors to a pseudo father-son bond. As Daniel learns more of Marek\u2019s life in his native Chechnya, he acts to rescue him from the gang.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>This Tourn\u00e9es Film Festival is made possible with the support of the <a href=\"http:\/\/frenchculture.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cultural Services of the French Embassy<\/a> in the U.S., the Centre National du Cin\u00e9ma et de l\u2019Image Anim\u00e9e (CNC), the French American Cultural Fund, Florence Gould Foundation and Highbrow Entertainment.
