She\u2019s swept into the feminist movement and falls in love with the cultured activist Carole. But when her father falls ill, Delphine returns to the farm\u2014and Carole follows. Through a love story of two women struggling against homophobia and class divides, <em>Summertime<\/em> offers a gripping tale of political and social change.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>This Tourn\u00e9es Film Festival is made possible with the support of the <a href=\"http:\/\/frenchculture.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cultural Services of the French Embassy<\/a> in the U.S., the Centre National du Cin\u00e9ma et de l\u2019Image Anim\u00e9e (CNC), the French American Cultural Fund, Florence Gould Foundation and Highbrow Entertainment.
