Neither documentary nor fiction, the film intertwines several narratives: Sokurov talking with a ship captain moving artifacts during a storm; Marianne roaming the Louvre with Napoleon; and the true friendship of the wartime curator and the Nazis\u2019 head of artistic preservation.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>This Tourn\u00e9es Film Festival is made possible with the support of the <a href=\"http:\/\/frenchculture.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cultural Services of the French Embassy<\/a> in the U.S., the Centre National du Cin\u00e9ma et de l\u2019Image Anim\u00e9e (CNC), the French American Cultural Fund, Florence Gould Foundation and Highbrow Entertainment.
