According to the <em>New York Times<\/em>, &#8220;The evocation of the primeval Hudson at the beginning brings to mind the famous passage on Long Island and the Sound in <em>The Great Gatsby<\/em>.&#8221; Youd is retyping it this week and next at\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/thomascole.org\">Thomas Cole National Historic Site<\/a>.
