Thank you!
We, TEDxVassarCollege, would like to give a huge shout out to our speakers who have been working tirelessly on their talks for the past few months. We would also like to thank Skinner Music Hall, Kim Andresen and Professor Patch for helping us secure this space for the event. Thank you to Media Resources and Brandon Deichler for helping us with all of the technology needed with this event, we could not have done it without them. Thank you also to the VSA and Will Rush, Professor Teriba and President Bradley for their support for this event. And finally, thank you to the TED organization for allowing us to host this TEDxVassarCollege Event.
As members of the Vassar College community, we acknowledge the land we are holding this event on is stolen grounds of the indigenous Mohican and Munsee Lenape tribes (https://native-land.ca ). Our college remains in the process of rectifying its recent role in retaining indigenous remains and cultural items, so this acknowledgement is also a realization that there is still significant progress to be made.
