LITERATURE: Bjurstr\u00f6m, 1976, no. 79, Fig., as Rosso.<\/p>\n

The figure, which may not be of an old man as Bjurstr\u00f6m thought, has the proportions and languid posture that might be associated with Primaticcio\u2019s art, although the graphic mode of the drawing does imitate Rosso\u2019s use of the pen.\u00a0 The drawing is probably part of the same program to which the other drawing of Venus and Cupid in a Chariot<\/em>, also in Stockholm (Fig.RD.36<\/a>), belongs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
