The course will cover topics such as image classification, accuracy assessment, and emerging technologies like deep learning in ArcGIS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christina Tenaglia<\/strong> to develop curriculum that uses the RISO printer as a self-publishing tool within a fine art context, while broadening the Printmaking program to explore RISO printing as a medium for messaging, collaboration, and community engagement.<\/p>\n<h2>2023<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Josh deLeeuw<\/strong>, to develop the materials needed to redesign an assignment in his <em>Introduction to Cognitive Science course<\/em>, such that students would be able to have an interactive conversation with an artificial intelligence agent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Liz Lastra &amp; Laura Hayes<\/strong>, to explore and develop the use of Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) technology, to aid in the acquisition and study of Icelandic cave carvings, by students in their field-trip-based intensive course, <em>Histories of Art, Ritual, and the Earth<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Walsh<\/strong>, to develop a website of Buddhist temple images, to be incorporated into the curricula of several of his courses.<\/p>\n<h2>2022<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Amitava Kumar<\/strong>, to incorporate the use of digital design software into his <em>New Journalism<\/em> course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcela Romero Rivera<\/strong>, to incorporate the use of digital design software into the final assignment of her <em>Women, Power and the Borderlands<\/em> course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeff Seidman<\/strong>, to support the the development of a website containing resources for his course, <em>Climate Solutions and Climate Careers<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>2021<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Abby Baird,<\/strong> to continue developing video-based course materials for PSYC-100 and to explore methods for online interaction with students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Claire Sagan<\/strong>, to develop podcast episodes for her Environmental Political Theory course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vinay Swamy &amp; Annie Brancky<\/strong>, to develop course materials to offer via the Perusall platform, encouraging interactive, social commentary on texts.<\/p>\n<h2>2020<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Christopher White<\/strong>, for the development of curricular materials for his <em>Religion and Media<\/em> course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Janet Andrews <\/strong>and<strong> Joshua deLeeuw<\/strong>,\u00a0to support the purchase of a dry EEG system and the development of related curricular materials for their Cognitive Science courses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lioba Gerhardi<\/strong> and <strong>Silke von der Emde,<\/strong>\u00a0to support the development of curricular materials for introductory German courses.<\/p>\n<h2>2019<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nancy Pokrywka<\/strong> and <strong>Jenni Kennell<\/strong>, who explored ways to integrate instructional technology tools into the newly created BIOL 107.
