PCSD Board of Education Election & Budget Vote<\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday, May 20, 2025<\/span><\/p>\n

9:00 AM \u2013 9:00 PM<\/span><\/p>\n

The Annual Public Hearing on the Budget shall be held in the Board Room at the<\/p>\n

District Administration Building<\/p>\n

18 S. Perry Street<\/p>\n

Poughkeepsie, New York<\/p>\n

on May 7, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., for the purpose of presenting the 2025-2026 School Year Budget.<\/p>\n

The Annual District Meeting and Election will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M., prevailing time, when the polls will be open for the purpose of voting by voting machine, to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Elect one (1) member of the Board of Education to a full term of three (3) years to begin on July 1, 2025, and to expire on June 30, 2028.<\/li>\n
  2. Vote upon the\u00a0appropriation\u00a0of the\u00a0necessary\u00a0funds\u00a0to\u00a0meet\u00a0the\u00a0estimated expenditures\u00a0for\u00a0School District purposes\u00a0for the\u00a02025-26\u00a0School Year (the\u00a0Budget);\u00a0and<\/li>\n
  3. Authorize transportation within the standard limits set forth in Section 3635(1) of the New York Education Law; and<\/li>\n
  4. Establish Child Safety Zones; and<\/li>\n
  5. Capital Reserve Expenditure; and<\/li>\n
  6. Transact such other business as is authorized by law.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
