Brain-Body-Art<\/p>\n
This program combines art appreciation, mindfulness, discussion, and hands-on activities with connections to local mental health and community resources.<\/p>\n
Art Exploration and Appreciation – Engage with a variety of artworks, learn about what motivated the artist to create, and discover how we can make personal connections with these works today.<\/p>\n
Emotional Expression and Mindfulness – Learn how art can be used as a tool for emotional healing and mindfulness, learn ways to manage your own stress and emotions.<\/p>\n
Open conversations – Have open conversations with individuals you can relate to, connect with peers, therapists, and local leaders. Discuss topics that may impact personal trauma and healing.<\/p>\n
Practical Coping Skills – Equip yourself with a coping skill toolkit and self care regimen. Build a supply kit to take home and put to practical use.<\/p>\n
