Revived in the 20th century, it continues to inspire contemporary artists today. This exhibition features nine female artists who expand upon traditional encaustic techniques in painting, sculpture, printmaking, book arts, and mixed-media works. Together, they explore the medium\u2019s versatility by incorporating fibers, found objects, and conceptual ideas, blending ancient processes with modern approaches to create compelling, tactile forms.
