As we develop our work, we always have some work that we think is special, sometimes because it is an achievement in a new technique, sometimes simply because we feel a special connection. In this &#8220;Best in Show&#8221; juried exhibition, Gallery 40 is celebrating these works that have a special place in each artist&#8217;s heart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\">Participating Artist: Lee A Willett, Onaje Benjamin, Janis Borgueta, Phyllis Chadwick, Kara Daviau, KP Devlin, Carolyn Edlund, Donna Faranda, Harriet Forman Barrett, Johanna Foster, Tarryl Gabel, Dana Garrison, Maureen Gates, Dan Goldman, Jamie Hankin, Sara Harris, Mark Hopkins, Ellin Kristofik, Nansi Lent, Yvette Lewis, Suzanne Longo, Ellen Metzger O&#8217;Shea, Sylvia Mueller, Emily Nomer, Jane Ormerod, Steve Rappaport, Jean Rhode, C\u00e9cile Roberfroid, Mark Rosengarten, Kathleen Suess, Cindy Sumerano, Mark Thibodeau, Arianne Wack, Trisha Wright<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\">Juror of Selection: Christine Irvin Ranhosky<br class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\" \/>Christine Irvin Ranhosky is the current President of the Stamford Art Association. Its Townhouse Gallery graces Franklin Street in an historic brownstone with an extraordinary trompe l\u2019oeil painting on the building. Christine is a distinguished photographer and printmaker whose work has been exhibited in numerous galleries across the region, including at the Lincoln Center Art Gallery in NYC and the Connecticut Graphic Arts Center.
