Our gathering is not merely an act of passive remembrance but a defiant stance against the relentless grip of oppressive forces that continue to asphyxiate the marginalized and disenfranchised. The\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Attica<\/span>\u00a0uprising serves as a poignant reminder of the power of collective resistance\u2014a resolute rejection of dehumanization and state-sanctioned violence.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The event will consist of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Free Food (Vegan and Gluten-Free options are available and limited)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Free Performances presented by Layd Ma\u00e9 Entertainment and callie mackenzie<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Ways to get involved with local organizations across the Hudson Valley<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Speeches from Movement leaders<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Free\u00a0Healing Clinic\u00a0facilitated by Heal With Yin, a local acupuncture clinic<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Free educational resources created and inspired by currently incarcerated community members<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Follow and support the event and Prisoner&#8217;s Brain Trust on Instagram at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/prisonersbraintrust?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&amp;igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/prisonersbraintrust?utm_source%3Dig_web_button_share_sheet%26igsh%3DZDNlZDc0MzIxNw%3D%3D&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1725545725410000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1wpJOvCMn9x_xwDPRxn91R\">Prisoner&#8217;s Brain Trust<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Prisoner&#8217;s Brain Trust Mission Statement: The Prisoners&#8217; Brain Trust (&#8220;PBT&#8217;) embodies people directly impacted by the prison industrial complex&#8217;s many harms. Our members are a combination of queer\/trans, cis-hetero, Black, Brown Indigenous People of Color, and white anti-racist\/anti-authoritarian partners. Each member brings their full carceral and personal experiences into our work to dissect how policies impact and intersect our lives and communities.
