Signing Out a Vassar Vehicle<\/span><\/h4>\n

This service is available to students with a valid driver\u2019s license.\u00a0There is a one-time $45 fee for this service, which will be charged to your account at the end of the semester. If you are unable to pay this<\/span><\/strong> $45 fee, p<\/span>lease contact The OCEL at ocel@vassar.edu, <\/span>who may be able to assist you with a waiver.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Students can only use Vassar vehicles to drive to their placement site and back. Students are not permitted to drive non-Vassar students or staff in these vehicles. Students will be charged for any extra mileage incurred.<\/p>\n

How to sign out a Vassar vehicle:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. FILL OUT<\/strong>\u00a0a\u00a0Vassar Vehicle Request Form<\/strong>.<\/a>\u00a0*<\/span><\/span>Note that this does not secure your vehicle reservation, you must complete the additional steps below.<\/li>\n
  2. COMPLETE<\/strong> a Motor Vehicle Record check form<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. SUBMIT<\/strong> a legible color copy of your driver’s license here<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n
  4. REGISTER<\/strong>\u00a0 with Vassar Security by completing the Agile Fleet User Registration Form<\/strong>.<\/a> <\/span>\u00a0Click on the \u201cSign up now\u201d button to create a user profile that allows you to request vehicles and be a driver. (below is an example of the User Registration Form).<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. CONTACT<\/strong>\u00a0 the OCEL for the budget code after you’ve verified your driver’s license with security.<\/li>\n
  6. RESERVE<\/strong>\u00a0 a Vassar Vehicle online via Vassar Agile Fleet Online Reservation<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note that this process can take up to 10 days<\/strong> and we cannot guarantee that a vehicle will be available. Please book well in advance, and please cancel your reservation if you don\u2019t need it.<\/p>\n
