Millions of Americans care deeply about the climate, yet they rarely vote. Since 2015, the Environmental Voter Project has used predictive modeling and behavioral science, rigorously tested in hundreds of randomized trials, to turn 2.2 million environmentalists into reliable voters, more than 126,000 of them in New York.<\/p>\n
Nathaniel Stinnett<\/strong> is the Founder & Executive Director of the Environmental Voter Project, a cutting-edge nonprofit using data analytics and behavioral science to mobilize environmentalists to vote. Named one of five global \u201cclimate visionaries\u201d by The New York Times in 2018, and dubbed \u201cThe Voting Guru\u201d by Grist magazine, Stinnett is a frequent expert speaker on experimental campaign techniques and the behavioral science behind getting people to vote. He has held a variety of senior leadership positions on US Senate, Congressional, state, and mayoral campaigns, and he sits on the Board of Advisors for MIT\u2019s Environmental Solutions Initiative.
