DAY ONE Early Learning Community is a non-profit located in the city of Poughkeepsie. Our mission is dedicated to creating the best learning opportunities for young children in New York State by providing state-of-the-art training for early childhood teachers. As part of our ecosystem for building high quality early childhood education, we provide programs for parents to have access to knowledge, resources and respect for their hopes for their children and families.

Desired Skills:
- Essential: use of google docs, google sheets/excel and google forms ideally google photos
- Strong foundation in writing for reports
- Clarity interest in the link between science, research, public policy and social justice attention to detail, especially numbers attention to detail in appearance of presentations, reports strong commitment to this work for this semester
- Reliable and mature approach strict adherence to policies regarding confidentiality of data teamwork; interested and able to receive guidance and constructive feedback flexibility preferred: experience or coursework in statistics or a research methods course
- Preferred: interest in graduate school or public policy & education work
Hours: Students can register for either 0.5 unit or 1.0 unit of credit ( min. 40 hrs with org over the semester for + 30 hrs of academic work OR min. 80 hr over the semester with org + 60 hours of academic work)
